Doggie Types
|
The Barker
Does your dog bark excessively? Does he bark at his own shadow? Do you walk around the house with ear muffs on? Some breeds bark more than others, but no matter what your dog's natural predisposition to barking, it can be modified.
|

The Eliminator
Does your dog eliminate in the house? Does he go to the bathroom when you turn your back? The Eliminator dog type is motivated to eliminate in your house because he does not understand that it is not okay or because he is marking.
|

|
|
The Puller
Is your right arm longer than your left? Are you living with a dog that has mistaken you for a sled and thinks you need to be pulled through the neighborhood? If your dog fits this type, then she may be the Puller doggie type.
|
|
The Digger
Does your backyard look like a lunar landscape? If it does, your dog may be the Digger type.
|
|
|
|
The Chewer
A common misunderstanding between dog and owner is centered around chewing. The Chewer is under the impression that the world is his chew toy. And the owners are frantically trying to save their last pair of shoes.
|
|
The Obsessor
If your dog engages in seemingly pointless repetitive behavior, he may be the Obsessor type. Obsessors will engage in all kinds of behaviors from tail chasing to systematically licking walls.

|
|
The Submittor
Does your dog bow her head and wet the floor when you come home? If he does he may be the Submittor doggie type. Submittors spend most of their day submitting to as many humans as they can. The unpleasant side effect of them wetting the floor can easily be eliminated.

The Anxietor
Does your dog freak every time you leave him alone? Does he become frantic the moment he can't see you? If he does he may be the Anxietor doggie type. This type of dog is suffering from separation anxiety.

|
The Dictator
Is your dog possessive of objects or toys? Does she try to bully you and get her way? The Dictator is a dog that has a take charge personality. This can lead to problems in the household, such as your dog attempting to collect rent from you!
