Just like people, many dogs don’t take to swimming naturally; they need to learn how to do it. Courteous Canine offers private swimming lessons for your puppy or adult dog in our dog dock jumping competition-standard swimming pool. Gradually, we will work with your four-legged friend to increase his confidence in the water and soon, he’ll take to swimming like a duck to water!
Class Type: Group. Maximum 6 dogs
Term: 1 class, 2 hours
Prerequisite: Completion of Puppy Kindergarten or Adult Dog Manners. Completion of group classes at other schools is accepted for the prerequisite.
You’ve seen it on TV: a dog running at top speeds across a dock and then gleefully leaping into the air and landing in a pool. Now, your dog can do it, too.

Term: 1 class, 90 minutes
Prerequisite: Completion of Introduction to Dock Jumping
If your dog already dock jumps or you have taken the intro class, then this is the class for you. Refine your tossing skills and learn how to increase your dog's "flight" distance.

Vertical Dock Jumping competitions take the sport of dog dock jumping to new heights! Rather than competing for the farthest jump, dogs compete for the highest jump. Our instructors will work with your dog one-on-one to maximize the spring in his step!
