We are a clicker training school that is force free! If you don't want to use a clicker we won't make you! No force, just fun!

Small classes 10 or less students per instructor. Fun clicker training techniques.

All group classes are eight weeks in length and cost $139.00.

How Do I Sign-up For Group Class?

Our group classes are held indoors in our air conditioned, fully matted 2200 square foot dog school building!

Puppy Kindergarten Group Class

This clicker training class is open to dogs less than six months of age.  Emphasis on socialization and aggression prevention.  You will learn how to teach your puppy sit, down, stand, stay, leave it, coming when called, loose leash walking, housetraining, mouthing and more! All participants get our free handouts filled with helpful information.

Basic Obedience Group Class

In preparation for agility or just for basic control.  This clicker training class is ideal for the unruly dog or for adolescent dogs.  You will learn how to teach your dog to sit, down, come, stand, stay, leave it, basic manners and more.  All participants get our free handouts filled with helpful information.

Intro to Agility Group Class

This clicker training class introduces you and your dog to the dog sport of agility.  Dogs learn to negotiate obstacles such as jumps, tunnels and wooden planks while the handlers call out cues.  Agility is a blast, don't miss this class!

Intermediate or Advanced Agility Group Class

Our intermediate and advanced agility classes prepare participants for competition.  You will learn to use clicker training to effectively train your dog and our instructors coach students using TAGteaching (www.TAGTeach.com) a highly effective method of teaching handling moves.  If you don't want to use a clicker we won't make you, our training is force-free for both dogs and handlers. 

Rally obedience

Rally obedience is new dog sport that combines agility (dog obstacle course training) with obedience. A dog and handler team complete a timed course that the judge designs that gets more complex as the difficulty level increases. It is a really fun sport that can take your pet obedience to the next level plus give you a fun way to mentally exercise your dog and increase your dog's bond with you.

Disc Dog Group Class

Flyball

This is an exciting dog sport that involves a team of four dogs individually jumping over four hurdles and each retrieving a ball.  For information on flyball classes please email us at info@courteouscanine.com.

CGC/Manners Group Class

This clicker training class is designed for a dog that has completed a Basic Obedience group class and is ready to take their dog obedience to the next level.  At the end of this class the dog will get a chance to test for the AKC Canine Good Citizen.  Your dog will be working on manners, polite leash walking, toe nail trimming, and many other behaviors while enrolled in this class.  This class is also recommended for dogs that wish to do pet therapy in preparation for Delta Society (www.deltasociety.org) pet therapy certification.

Trick Training: Canine Acting for fun, smiles, print and TV

Whether you want to do pet therapy, think your dog has star quality or just want to make your friends laugh, trick training class is for you! Advanced Basic Obedience Group Class

This clicker training class is the ultimate challenge in dog pet obedience.  Instruction will emphasize fun proofing and tons of distractions while dogs learn to perform cues reliably.  Come join us for this class that will put the finishing touches on your pet obedience.  If you are ready for a challenge sign up now!

Private Instruction
