Amy Weeks, CPDT, CGC Evaluator, CAP1

Amy Weeks has enjoyed working with dogs most of her life. Amy is committed to positive reinforcement training and educating the public in positive training methods. Amy has worked as a professional trainer at PetCo, Florida Guide Dogs for the Deaf and Therapetics, a service dog training center in Oklahoma. She is a CGC Evaluator and is a Certified Pet Dog Trainer (CPDT) from the Certification Council for the Association of Pet Dog Trainers. She also holds a Master of Arts in Theater from Oklahoma State University which she completed in 1987. Amy has competed in AKC Rally Obedience with her dog Lady. She is pursuing dog dock jumping, rally and agility titles. She has a special interest in training service and hearing alert dogs.Amy passed her CAP1 with distinction.

Amy lives in Tampa with her husband, three children and her German Shepherd named Lady. Amy teaches Puppy Kindergarten, Basic Obedience, Canine Good Citizen, Rally O and behavior modification. She is available for group and private instruction at the school and in homes at owners homes.
