Ellen Kurland, CAP1

Ellen Kurland and her dog Oliver are avid Pet Therapy volunteers. Oliver has his AKC Canine Good Citizen and passed the rigorous Delta Society Pet Partner test with flying colors. Ellen is a retired pre-school teacher so instruction is very natural to her. Ellen has a special interest in dogs and kids. She is a dogs and Storks and DogGoneSafe Presenter. She is a volunteer for the READ program which helps kids learn to read by having them read to a pet. Ellen trains Oliver and Madison for agility, musical freestyle and disc dog. In addition Ellen has two elderly Miniature Poodles. Oliver is a Pet Partners through the Delta Society. Ellen is committed to her on-going education and has attended seminars with Dr. Ian Dunbar and Dr. Susan Friedman.
