Mary Ann Campbell, Director of Animal Acting
Mary Ann Campbell is Courteous Canine, Inc.'s Director of Animal Acting. Mac, as she is affectionately known, accompanies dog and cat actors to the set and handles them for the duration of the shoot. She has trained her own Yorkie to act for a movie, requiring the dog actor to perform several complicated behavior chains.
Mac has trained her Yorkie, Chance, to several titles in the American Kennel Club, United States Dog Agility Association and Canine Performance Events. Chance competes at the highest level in agility and at the advanced level in Rally Obedience. Chance is a Delta Society approved Pet Partner and is available for pet therapy visits.
Mac shares her life with her loving husband, Fred, a Dobermann, a Border Collie mix, and six Yorkies. Mac works with the rescue organization Yorkie Friends to help Yorkies in need and frequently volunteers her time to help transport dogs for other rescue organizations.
Mac specializes in trick training and puppy training.
Mac is committed to her on-going education and has attended seminars with Dr. Susan Friedman.
