Maren Jensen Ph.D., CAP1, CGC Evaluator

Maren is an instructor for agility classes including Intro to Agility and Intermediate Agility. She also teaches puppy kindergarten and basic obedience. She is also available for aggression consults. She parents three dogs: Suzi is a rescue found about 5 years ago, Keegan is a Border Collie from Lockeye Border Collies, and Rumble, another Lockeye Border Collie. Suzi has been competing in Agility since 2003 and has earned Novice titles in AKC and UKC, she also has her CGC. If she wants she will also compete in Rally-Obedience. Border Collie Lock-Eye Fuse Lit N Ready, aka Keegan is in training for Agility, Rally and Obedience and anything else his heart desires. He is Maren's first and not her last Border Collie, as recently Maren added Rumble. Interests: Maren has her Ph.D. in Biology, specializing in Neuroscience, so needless to say she is fascinated with behavior one major reason that she is involved in dog training. Another major reason is Suzi. As a rescue she came with her share of behavior issues and Agility training has really helped her cope and makes for a much happier relationship. Maren passed her Clicker Assessment Protocol level 1 with distinction and is also an apprentice tester for ATTS (the American Temperament Testing Society). Maren is an American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen Evaluator. She is available for private instruction behavior consults and specializes in aggression and agility.
